[box] It’s a long, dusty trail from snowy Alaska to the desert landscape of Arizona but Sarah Palin has found a roomy Scottsdale property that is large enough to house her sizable brood.[/box]
There has been a lot of interest and curiosity concerning the Palin’s new home, especially since rumor mills are still churning out the fact that Ms. P is seriously considering a run for the White House in 2012.
It seems that Washington, DC would offer more visibility for the publicity seeking Palin family, but Arizona has shown that it is a state that embraces traditional Republican values and ideologies.
Now you do know that just “any old home” would not do for the Queen of the Tea Party coalition. Naturally Ms. Sarah Palin chose a home that could do justice as the setting for a ‘reality show’ or be used to host a large gathering of the ‘right leaning’ movers and shakers.
The Scottsdale home selected by Sarah and family contains almost 8,000 square feet of living space. This makes it almost twice as large as the huge newly purchased residence that is now the home of Palin’s wayward daughter, Bristol. A home that also resides in the state of Arizona.
Actually Ms. Palin got a good buy for her $1.695 million dollars because this southwestern mansion is relatively palatial in both size and features. Checking out the public information for this real estate listing it is easy to see that the Palins will enjoy an elevator, an authentic stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, high-end appliances, granite counters and a 6 car garage. This 5 bedroom residence also boasts 6.5 bathrooms, a fully outfitted wine cellar, swimming pool, spa, cabana and a home theater.
Although there is lots of room for guests and visitors don’t expect to hear that the Obama’s or the McCain’s are invited to come to any of the Palin family’s Arizona house parties.
