[box] With two houses on the real estate market, singing sensation turned reality judge, Christina Aguilera, is finally selling one of her multi-million dollar estates. And first to go is the house in the Hollywood Hills, which recently sold for $4,653,800. That’s almost $3 million less than she initially listed the property for three years ago.[/box]

What do you do after a divorce? Sell your house of course. If you’re Christina Aguilera, you sell two of them. Of course, the one that sold, the Sunset Strip home, has been on the market since April of 2008, so the divorce had nothing to do with it. However, the marital home purchased with ex-hubby, Jordon Bratman, simply isn’t moving and has been on the market since March of 2011.

With the dramatic drop in real estate prices and the lengthy listing time, even though Christina lost over three million dollars when you include real estate fees, a lottery win for most of us, she actually didn’t fare too poorly, selling the home at $4,653,800 particularly considering the current state of the real estate market. Of course, there’s never anything good about losing three million dollars. Ouch!

The home has a futuristic design with 6,500 square feet of living space. It offers floor-to-ceiling windows for the lucky buyer to view the city with ease. The living room comes equipped with a dazzling fireplace centerpiece and built in sofa that surrounds the sunken living room. The buyer probably appreciated the Terrazzo floors and the sliding glass door that opens to the great outdoors.

The house is open spaced and airy accented in white’s and light colored wood. The screening room is a bit ‘dunkfy’, a new word that combines dumpy and dorky. The brown overstuffed couches facing the screen and pinkish walls left a lot to be desired….Perhaps this room was the put off for many other potential buyers. However, the outside terrace sporting a small pool more than makes up for the disaster in the screening room.

Her other home on the market is the 10,000 square foot six-bedroom Mediterranean style mansion purchased from the royal family of darkness, the Osbournes, and is still on the market to this day… with an asking price of $13.5 million. After getting a quick glimpse into this pink Spanish styled exterior, this writer wants to warn Christina not to plan too heavily on this home selling in the near future, unless of course, someone views it while under the influence of narcotics. Even then, it could easily cause a bad trip. Ms. Aguilera, if you truly want to move this property…REDECORATE!!!
